Okay Okay.. so you've made it, or you're thinking about it!  And that's a great thing!  There are so many things that are going to happen during this internship.  There's no place really to begin!  Of course, for the most part, the information on this site will probably repeat all that basic information found on the other sites.  But, there is a lot of information here - mostly because I always felt the other sites were always a little short on info (but they all are GREAT!).  Lots of times I really just needed some input - what someone did, how they felt about the choices they made, what they would have done differently.  And I was waaaay excited about doing this thing - I really needed a CP fix!  So I hope this site is your 'fix'.  I'll try my best to keep it up to date with as much information as possible.  For more information, on a personal level check out all the alumni info.  Many people will be glad to help you out!  And always remember, the Walt Disney College Program website can always be found www.wdwcollegeprogram.com
 

     My first program was during the Fall 2001 semester, and boy did I have a great time!  I met soo many people, got in touch with some great connections, and had the time of my life!  Minus a few loony people, there was nothing else to add.  And then I returned for two more years as a seasonal cast member, an opportunity that will open up to you automatically once you finish out your program (unless they changed it).  Again, I got to work in different locations, and I got a chance to really come to know and understand what the college program was about and what the Walt Disney Company could really do for me.  You'll hear many different things from many different people, but it all comes down to two things... What YOU take from the college program and what YOU decided to do with it.  Don't let anyone else make those decisions for you...

     Just a reminder, the alumni pages are open to anyone and everyone!  So if you are a perspective CPer, and there's information that you just need to know, this would be the best place for you to go (oy - I've worked at Disney toooooo long!)  The CP section is by password only - for safety sake!  Here you'll be able to meet up with people and to find out who'll be checking in with you.  And there's also lots - let me rephrase that - A TON of information throughout all the CP pages.  And if you have anything you would like to add... there will be plenty of space for that!
